Under general supervision, assists department manager in overseeing and directing all aspects of Respiratory Care Services provided on assigned shift. Provides respiratory care services and pulmonary diagnostics within the guidelines of the Respiratory Care services department policy and procedure manual, performing all clinical RCP duties as applied in general care areas, critical care (i.e. SICU, CICU, ED, PACU, NICU, and PICU) and Labor and Delivery. Provides assessment, treatment and care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Is proficient in all required competencies. Assists in the planning, organizing, supervising, and educating staff for the daily operations and clinical practice of Respiratory Care Services.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory for those hired after 12/31/18. California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. 4 years Clinical experience in acute care facility.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Respiratory Specialty Certification i.e., RRT National Certification, Neonatal Pediatric Specialist (NPS), Asthma Education National Specialty Certification (AE-C), Certified Pulmonary Function Technician (CPFT), Registered Pulmonary Function Technician (RPFT), Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS), Sleep Disorder Specialist (SDS), AHA Instructor (for ACLS, PALS, NRP) upon hire. 2 years Supervisory experience.Why Join Providence?
