Position Purpose:

Oversees the day to day Sales Support operations and overall performance management of the Support team. Supports strategic improvements consistent with corporate goals and initiatives, focusing on improving sales effectiveness through sales process improvements. Measures and provides appropriate performance and behavioral feedback to assigned team members. Assists in the design and/or implementation of Continuous Improvement projects. Offers suggestions to management with ideas on how to improve sales delivery, employee engagement and streamline processes.

Key Job Activities:

•    Manages Sales Support team, including Inside Sales Development Representatives and Sales Support team members, taking appropriate actions to ensure key performance indicators are met and performing necessary research and analysis to resolve problems. Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
•    Directly accountable for individual team member performance, department goals and project objectives. Achieves this by allocating work and managing productivity of individual team members as well as overall quality of work.
•    Provides sales support for all levels of sales personnel.
•    Assists in developing new initiatives and makes recommendations for changes, based on proactive and reactive business needs, focusing on improving the communication, timing and impact to the customer and employees in the working environment. Supports members in implementing changes. 
•    Develops sound communication and working relationships with other teams, acting as a liaison to advise managers of needs for improved cross-functional processes. 
•    Utilizes existing technology to establish improved interaction and communication across teams. Assists with development of new technology, programs, processes and reporting. 
•    Develops Technical Service staff through effective hiring, coaching, evaluative performance feedback and guidance. Oversees job prep function. 
•    Proactively manages daily internal workflow to ensure job coordination and completion.
•    Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
 

Experience:

•    High School Diploma or Bachelors or equivalent
•    Minimum of 1 year experience with Salesforce, SAP or equivalent systems
•    Minimum 3 years full-time work experience
