Position Purpose This position is responsible for structural information's revision and optimization of the soil treatment recommended by the LAB, Including the OFI budget control as Pylons and signage vendors , Steel structure and HVAC units vendors among others. Primary Accountabilities + Coordinate structural vendors that execute store´s design, ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines. Structural review & design, inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations inorder to deliver the most effective cost & design project, optimization of the project, execution of structural calculation of retaining walls and foundation design. Compliance with codes, specifications, and standards + Soils Mechanics reports revision and optimization, consisting in a deep evaluation of the soils report´s recommendations made for the site. + Analyzing recommendations made by the soil mechanics laboratory, evaluating them to optimize them, auditing laboratories and questioning proposals to find errors. Looking for improving the process and reducing the constructions costs. " + Bidding process and vendors negotiations for stores signage (Pylons and channel letters), asking for the quotation of the projects to 3 different vendors, looking for better cost options, fabrication times reduction and according to our specifications and city regulations. Education & Experience Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. Area of Study: Civil Engineer/ Master in Structural Engineer/Design & Construction Years of Experience: Five to seven years. Type of Experience: Experince in Construction industry, with emphasis on fast track reatil construction Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Structural design Program, construction estimating, and scheduling Other/Preferred: Bilingual capabilities, strong managerial skills
