Supervisor Support Services
**Overview** As the Supervisor Support Services at CHI Mercy Health Valley City, you'll oversee the staff in the nutrition services and environmental services department. Your previous experience in an acute care setting adds tremendous value to our patient care team. You'll advocate for your team as you support them in reaching their full potential, aligning with our operational goals and objectives. You'll provide leadership support to plan, organize and lead resources with assigned team members. Participate in operationalizing CHI Health Strategic Initiatives and priorities. Servce as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of principles consistent with the Mission, Vision, and Commitments of CHI Mercy Health Valley City. We are always just down the road and have offered services for decades. **Responsibilities** + Ensure your direct reports and department are positioned to deliver the best care possible to our patients + Recruits, hires, trains, disciplines and supervises staff, including performance evaluations, and competency assessments + Assist with budget development, management and issues cost effective operations + Monitor productivity and efficiency of your department + Mentor people on your team. Share your knowledge and confidence the patient care team + Oversees day-to-day work activities; directs the functional and technical job performance of department leaders. + Supports and collaborates with department leaders to ensure overall staffing needs are met. + Oversees department performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback and recognition, developing skills and addressing performance issues related to our work and our commitments using corrective action. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years leadership experience. + Healthcare Experience. **Pay Range** $19.73 - $27.13 /hour We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
