Responsibilities
Manages and supervises the operation and staff of the anatomic pathology histology laboratory. This position oversees the processing , digital pathology and consult practice departments of the Pathology Laboratory. Incumbent may be required to spend a portion of time performing routine service work. Previous Digital Pathology experience preferred.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology with at least one year of training and/or experience in high complexity testing. The general supervisor's training and experience must be in the designated discipline or area of service for which the individual is responsible. Four years of laboratory experience after obtaining the qualified bachelor’s degree.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
Must have demonstrated leadership, communication (oral and written) and problem-solving ability. Must be highly organized, efficient, and able to work independently. Requires human relations skills to influence and motivate others.
License or Certifications:
Histology – HT or HTL (ASCP) or equivalent required.
