Daikin Applied is seeking a Supervisor – Test Lab. The Test Lab Supervisor will be responsible for supervising the lab technicians. In this role, you will assign personnel to daily tasks, establish and enforce work procedures, make personnel decisions, and occasionally work alongside each of our three shifts. What you will do:

Direct and advise personnel in special test procedures to analyze components and physical properties of materials Compile and analyze test information to determine the operating efficiency of processes or equipment and to diagnose malfunctions Confer with engineers to conduct analyses, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests Adjust formulas and processes based on test results Test and analyze sample products Prepare test protocols for use by laboratory personnel in conducting tests Conduct research to develop custom products and investigate complaints about existing products Establish or adjust work procedures to meet testing schedules Recommend measures to improve testing procedures and use of equipment Analyze and resolve, or assist workers in solving work problems Maintain time and testing records Calibrate, maintain and diagnose issues for test instrumentation to provide accurate test data for engineers Specify and submit purchase requisitions for test equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

Vocational or Technical degree Ten years of related experience Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree
