Location: Western Oklahoma District - Oklahoma City Metro, OK

Qualified candidates must live in or relocate to the area. Candidates selected for an interview should notify their current Supervisor.

Summary

Supervise assigned locators in a defined geographic territory. Locate and mark underground utility lines. Maintain positive employee, client, and public relations.

 

Responsibilities

Interact with technicians assigned to work groupCounsel, train and develop technician’s skillsLocate and mark underground utility linesTroubleshoot difficult locates with technicianServe as a positive role modelEnsure technicians have adequate inventories/suppliesRecord and analyze technicians’ daily workloadPerform audits on selected locates.Thoroughly investigate damagesReview GPS Exception Report daily to ensure company policy compliance by locators and take appropriate actions if violations are foundCoach locators on efficiency improvement opportunitiesConduct timely performance reviewsWork with management on coaching, counseling, suspensions and terminationsEnsure policies and procedures are followedInterview potential candidates for prospective staffing needsMonitor safety program complianceWear appropriate personal protective equipmentFollow established safety procedures and policies

 

Requirements

Must have currently attained the rank of Technician 4 or higher and earned Field Trainer and CDI credits. (Internal)3+ years of supervising experience preferred Associate degree preferredValid driver's license and safe driving record requiredDriver and Quality scores of eight (8) or higher are required. (Internal)Previous experience managing a profit and loss statement preferredAbility to demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skillsSolid verbal, written, and organizational skills requiredFinancial management experience of managing a profit and loss statement preferredExhibited solid leadership skillsAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyAbility to communicate clearly and effectively
