SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL BRANCH MANAGER in the BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION, SENSORS WEAPONS & LAUNCHERS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA. Responsibilities You will assist Department Management with the development, analysis, and review of Department financial requirements necessary for budgeting and executing the overhead and direct funding required for a Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) organization. You will review, coordinate, submit, counsel and advise management on financial development, planning, and execution. You will perform a variety of administrative support functions such as oversight for: program analysis, timekeeping approvals, procurement, travel approvals and office/personnel/facilities move requests. You will provide overall insight into the development and management of business processes, policies and procedures and operational schedules. You will develop and establish department operational, administrative and management policy. You will ensure department health and compliance with command goals and mission objectives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis of financial management programs to formulate resolution to financial issues. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
