SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the SEASPARROW ENGINEERING BRANCH of NMC ORD SYS ENG MGMT. Responsibilities You will plan and manage workloads to be accomplished, set and adjust short-term priorities and develop project completion schedules. You will identify subordinate employee's developmental and training needs, and ensure needed development and training are obtained. You will determine instrumentation and equipment requirements for project execution. You will execute fiscal controls, perform cost analysis, and manage the overall projects involving consideration of organizational time, materials cost, safety, and performance requirements. You will oversee and communicate support of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies, assuring equality in determining qualifications, selections, assignments, training, promotions, details, discipline, and awards to employees. You will prepare technical reports regarding completed project work, presenting results, conclusions, and recommendations and participate in preparing and delivering technical presentations for project sponsors. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To qualify for a GS-12, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience displaying a thorough knowledge of electronic repair, testing, fault analysis, inspection methodologies, and drawing/schematic interpretation. Experience demonstrating the ability to draft technical documents and decision papers and then presenting findings/reports to management and sponsors. Experience planning, developing, implementing, and executing complex technical projects. Experience performing work of a broad scope and complexity requiring application and that demonstrates ability in interpreting, selecting, adapting and applying diverse guidelines, precedents, engineering principles, and practices pertaining to electronic equipment.
