SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Responsibilities You will serve as an expert in operating policy and procedural changes/ revisions to automated systems to ensure compliance with multiple policy and regulatory requirements. You will examine internal control systems to ensure that systems provide for integrity, accurate and validity of reported financial data. You will monitor and track progress toward achievement and sustainment of FM certification of subordinate personnel. You will manage the review and analysis of complex situations related to the Defense Agencies Initiative Accounting System and play a pivotal part on the Naval Special Warfare Commands sustainment operartions You will oversee the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness program for the Naval Special Warfare Command. You will supervise two branches, Accounting Operations and the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness program. You will serve as the subject expertise in general fund accounting and financial reporting matters in support of the Naval Special Warfare Command Comptroller Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expert technical accounting advice and solution reommendations to adress accounting and finnancial management problems. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
