Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will implement supply chain management solutions that support material readiness requirements. You will be responsible for oversight of financial management processes and maintaining auditability and accountability of supply chain management functions. You will monitor inventory to prepare reports using supply database programs. You will advise organizational leadership in the development of solutions for confronting irregular challenges. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing and applying knowledge of DON and DoD supply and distribution program systems and processes within laws, regulations, policies, and practices; 2) Making decisions and recommendations on the diverse Supply Chain Management environment, including the ability to develop and implement new solutions to environments; 3) Planning, funding and managing information systems, and applying knowledge of the organization and functions of activities involved in providing Supply Chain Management support; 4) Utilization of Government Purchase Card procurement method for purchases following established rules, regulations, and thresholds; and 5) Determining and applying financial management and budget policies, processes and procedures.
