About the Position: This position is within the U.S. Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command. Their mission is to provide World Class products and Contracting support. This position is for a MICC Deputy G-1, and serves as the Chief , Human Resources Management, and technical authority on all Human Resource matters. Responsibilities Serves as a MICC Chief, Human Resources Management, and technical authority on all Human Resource matters. Also dual hatted as MICC Deputy G1. Exercises technical responsibility for administration of local aspects of civilian and military personnel, personnel security, and the provision of management advisory services. Develops policy, methodologies, and procedures to accomplish mission requirements and objectives. Interfaces with Department of the Army Headquarters staff, Civilian Human resource Advisory Center (CPAC) staff, and Civilian Human resource Operations Center (CPOC) staff. Serves as advisor to the Commander and Senior Leadership of MICC on critical and essential human resource policies and programs. Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties. Assigns work and establishes priorities; evaluates performance of subordinates; gives advice, counsel, and/or instruction to subordinates on both work and administrative matters. Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties. Participates in planning and evaluative groups to recommend changes and improvements in civilian and military personnel programs. Coordinates accomplishment of actions regarding labor relations, recruitment, placement, management-employee relations, grievances and appeals, disciplinary actions, Human resource development, position classification, automation requirements, workforce development, talent management, personnel security and a variety of actions related to employee services. Specialized experience: Oone year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the NH-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Provide advice or guidance to leadership on human capital programs; 2) Interpret human resources regulations in order to provide guidance to an organization; AND 3) Lead human resources professionals engaged in organization wide HR operations functions in areas such as recruitment, classification, workforce development, Military personnel, incentive awards, and operational human resources support. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Human Capital Management Oral Communication Personnel and Human Resources Workforce Development This is a High Level NH-04 in the AcqDemo Pay banding scale. The NH pay band covers grades 14/15 on the GS scale. This position is subject to a salary control point equal to GS-15 Step 10. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted./ Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
