SUPERVISORY INFRASTRUCTURE READINESS MANAGER
Summary About the Position: This position serves as the Deputy Director and Chief of Infrastructure of the G-4 Logistics and Facilities Directorate, reporting directly to the DEVCOM G-4 Director of Logistics and Facilities. for DEVCOM. Directly responsible to establish and maintain a DEVCOM enterprise-wide infrastructure readiness and investment program with a common operating picture for DEVCOM mission capabilities. Responsibilities Serves as the Deputy Director and Chief of Infrastructure of the G-4 Logistics and Facilities Directorate, reporting directly to DEVCOM G-4 Director of Logistics and Facilities. Establishes and maintains a DEVCOM enterprise-wide Infrastructure Readiness and Investment Program with Common Operating Picture (COP) for all DEVCOM mission capabilities. Generates and briefs an Infrastructure Common Operating Picture (COP) with recommendations at the General Officer/Senior Executive Service level for decision and guidance. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the DE-3/GS13 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Consults and advises senior leaders and organizational directors on strategic infrastructure initiatives, requirements and decisions, including policy interpretation, regulations, and Federal, State, and local laws; 2) Preparing and presenting executive level technical and cost analysis briefings/reports relating to enterprise-level major infrastructure initiatives; 3) Chairing and/or leading various boards, panels, delivery teams, working groups/units, councils, and committees AND 4) Supervise, manage, and direct; through subordinate supervisors; the efforts of personnel engaged in facilitating and managing complex infrastructure and associated programs. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications Leadership Project Management Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
