SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the Cyber Engineering and Digital Transformation Directorate, Command Information Systems Security Division (CISO),-SEA 03 as an employee of CARDEROCK DIV NS. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. Responsibilities Lead and participate in NAVSEA cybersecurity inspections to support cybersecurity policy compliance Serve as first line supervisor for the NAVSEA Enterprise overseeing 7+ employees Advises the CISO, division directors, and executive leadership, providing written and oral reports, metrics, and recommendations on the status of projects and issues Implement new IT criteria based on changing Department of Defense and Department of Navy policies Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies, plans, and processes as part of command and/or agency-wide initiatives Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting priorities, and preparing schedules for completion Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, considering the difficulty and requirements of the assignments and the capabilities of the employees Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and developing Information Technology (IT) specifications, coordinating with stakeholders to align with cybersecurity initiatives, and leading teams in the implementation of cybersecurity policies Your experience must also reflect skill in the following IT core competency areas; attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
