Summary You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) in the PACNORWEST INSTALLATION EXECUTION, 42170 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. Responsibilities You will serve as supervisor supporting the Navy in the Fleet Modernization and Installation Division, supervising a diverse workforce of Information Technology (IT) Specialists, technicians and engineers. You will manage the Branch day-to-day administrative operations and assume the role of the STRL Rating Official for all employees assigned. You will support Command initiatives focused on improving business and operations policies and implement best practices; participate and lead Center and Department initiatives as requested by senior leadership. You will work closely with the Division Deputy of Operations and Division Head on implementing Division, Department and Center strategic and tactical action plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with providing guidance on personnel actions such as hiring/performance issue; and assisting with developing policies for department staffing, facilities, safety, security, information assurance and/or other administrative activities necessary to ensure efficient and consistent implementation of higher-level requirements. The pay schedule for all Supervisor Positions will be NM-2/3/4/5/6. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management.
