Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Program Performance & Optimization Division, Product Support Management/Integration Department of the Sustainment Group of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND. Responsibilities You will assist with developing and implementing comprehensive product support strategies to include assistance with periodic reviews to ensure the arrangements are consistent with the overall product support strategy. You will provide policy, guidance, training and oversight of Sustainment management and integration processes. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Sustainment policies and processes that integrate a wide range of functional activities contributing to the effectiveness of programs and support systems. You will be responsible for evaluation of policy and procedures across multiple functional disciplines and Product Support Elements to ensure optimal and integrated guidelines for logistics acquisition and sustainment. You will represent PSM/I at designated program reviews and audits to evaluate the status/effectiveness of highly complex, highly diverse support solutions. You will apply analytics to identify command-wide efficiencies/best-practices across all product support elements for entire product life-cycle support domain. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.)Mastery of advanced concepts, principles and practices of all aspects of the broad field of logistics management (both traditional and non-traditional sustainment solutions) that enable incumbent to serve as an expert in multiple Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSEs) with skills to take action in any area of sustainment management.2.)Mastery of two or more IPSEs with demonstrated experience executing those elements within an integrated product team environment.3.)Comprehensive knowledge of the acquisition life-cycle phases related to DoD/Navy systems and equipment and the documentation, analyses, and reviews associated with those phases Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management web site: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
