Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist
Summary About the Position: This Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist is located at White Sands Missile Range, G4 with duty location of White Sands Missile Range, Dona Ana, New Mexico. (merit) Responsibilities Serve as the Chief, Office of Logistics Division, G-4, White Sands Missile Range (WSMR). Initiate, develop, and recommend policies, procedures, guidance, and control for subordinate logistic management activities within the WSMR-ATEC organizations. Serve as the headquarters subject matter expert regarding internal day-to-day supply and logistical operations and governing supply regulations and guidelines Lead efforts in coordination, tracking, and allocating costs for General Services Administration (GSA) vehicles and non-tactical vehicles; and procurement of goods and supplies for mission operations. Lead efforts in management of equipment and property (calibration, turn-in, loss, damage, or theft reporting, repairs and maintenance. Supervise civilian personnel performing administrative, technical, and clerical work. Manage the Command Supply/Maintenance Discipline Program and the logistics aspects of the Internal Control Program. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes planning, implementing and administering of Logistics Management Programs such as: Asset Visibility, Fleet Management and Equipment Management, Equipment Maintenance Management and Procurements efforts as well monitoring expenditures, determining the funding, personnel requirements, or timelines; preparing after action reports; and analyzing logistics activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. This is a(n) Logistics Career Field position. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest. Relocation Incentive may be authorized. Recruitment Incentive may be authorized. The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command has various incentives that may be available for highly qualified candidates. The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) is participating in an alternate personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project (AcqDemo). Among other features, the Demonstration Project replaced GS grade levels with occupational families and pay bands. The band NH-03 is equal to the former GS-12 Step 01 through GS-13 step 10. ATEC uses salary control points to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $137,00.00 including locality.
