Responsibilities Serve as the Deputy Chief, Army Force Generation Plans Branch, G-3 Plans Division. Analyze assigned missions, external factors of influence, and workload levels to determine their impacts on current and future mission planning. Plan work estimating costs to conduct all phases of a project by coordinating with staff and line management personnel; 2. Prepare plans for operations and contingencies operations to accomplish the mission; 3. Provide information for different operational and mobilization plans in conjunction with leadership; 4. Participate in coordination of assigned projects in preparing operational plans to accomplish the mission; and 5. Assist in synchronizing the mobilization and training of units deploying in support of Contingency Operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
