Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY POSTAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Naval Supply Systems Command-NAFSUP of NAVSUP FLC YOKO REG. Responsibilities You will serve as a senior analyst and SME assisting in managing the postal program. You will provide guidance and advice to junior analysts on issues concerning the postal program. You will analyze results from studies in consideration of present regulations, policies and procedures that would affect each new program and its relationship with present postal products and services programs. You will provide technical guidance on procedures and works on methods to improve postal services. You will establish guidelines for types of postal service rendered to include methods of safeguarding funds and equipment You will provide Postal Advisory Assistance to assigned activity and tenant command personnel. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: overseeing day-to-day operational, financial and administrative control of the Postal Service Center operation, postal inspections and policy recommendations for postal training to ensure agencies comply with postal regulations.
