Summary About the Position: This Supervisory Security Guard is located at U.S. Army White Sands Missile Range, White Sands Test Center, XO/Mission Support Directorate with duty location of White Sands Missile Range, Otero County, New Mexico. White Sands Test Center uses salary control points within the salary range to allow for differentiation in the level of positions within the same broadband. Therefore, the salary for this position will be set no higher than $87,482(with locality). One-year specialized experience equivalent to the NK-02/GS-07 grade level as work with a Federal, State, municipal, local, or private protective organization that involved which includes experience maintaining security measures to monitor and provide control of personnel and vehicles; experience patrolling designated areas to check for unusual situations and conditions; and experience conducting physical access control operations. Acceptable experience includes service in the Armed Services or Coast Guard that involved the performance of guard duties on a regular or intermittent basis.
