Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Tool Control and Transportation Program Manager in the MRO Logistics Department of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will develop operating procedures and provide technical support of the Tool Control Program (TCP) to eliminate foreign object damage to all aircraft, engines, and aeronautical components. You will perform analysis of existing and proposed operating procedures to evaluate effectiveness in meeting program objectives as well as organize statistical data for identifying areas where program adjustments are indicated. You will prepare progress reports for presentation to senior managers to keep management apprised of progress, problems, solutions, and delays. You will conduct audits on day-to-day operations involving all departments/divisions to ensure compliance with local instructions, guidance, and policy. You will serve as a central point of contact concerning projects and programs as well as act as a supervisor for junior staff and other personnel. You will implement operating programs for automated data processing systems along with monitoring budget status to support the operation of the program(s). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Developing operating procedures and providing technical support of the Tool Control Program (TCP) to eliminate foreign object damage to all aircraft, engines, and aeronautical components; (2) Performing analysis of existing and proposed operating procedures to evaluate effectiveness in meeting program objectives as well as organizing statistical data for identifying areas where program adjustments/modifications are indicated; (3) Preparing progress reports for presentation to senior managers to keep management apprised of progress, problems, solutions, and delays; (4) Conducting audits on day-to-day operations involving all departments/divisions to ensure compliance with local instructions, guidance, and policy; (5) Serving as a central point of contact concerning projects and programs as well as acting as a supervisor for junior staff and other personnel; and (6) Implementing operating programs for automated data processing systems along with monitoring budget status to support the operation of the program(s).
