SUMMARY

The Supplier Accounting Services Coordinator is responsible for processing invoices and business expenses with accuracy and efficiency. This role involves collaborating with vendors, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position reports directly to the supervisor and works closely with internal teams to streamline accounting operations.

This position sits onsite 5 days a week in Grapevine, TX.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Gather and review invoices for payment, including data entry, spreadsheet review, creation and import.Responsible for accuracy, completion, scanning, and follow-up for all assigned companies or vendors.Communicate promptly and professionally with vendors regarding account issues, payment status, and information changes.Maintain organization and accountability of high-volume paper and electronic payables assigned.Enter all batches in SAP for payment processing.Generate reports on a weekly and monthly basis from a variety of software.   Audit, research and reconcile vendor accounts for overpayments and determine the best means for collecting the refundsAssist with the accurate entry and maintenance of over 20,000 vendor records, including tax informationCollaborate with team members to analyze current practices and recommend and document approved best practices for the function to ensure optimal functional efficiencyIdentify the most appropriate, reasonable ways to meet special requests within the general framework of existing expense payable guidelines, procedures, and general best practicesWhere appropriate, offer recommendations for making the expense payable function more efficient, accurate, and user friendlyModel the behaviors expected of all GameStop associates including, but not limited to, a drive for results, with a demonstrable bias for action; high levels of emotional intelligence, maturity, and professionalism; giving, receiving and responding to feedback effectively; a consistently high service orientation; and demonstrable commitments to diversity, inclusion, a respectful workplace, and integritySupport the building of organizational capability through continuous improvement activities; recommend action to improve existing conditions and processes; identify improvement opportunities, generate ideas, and implement solutionsManage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organizationGather, organize, interpret, and report data used by other leaders to make sound business decisions; prepare related recommendations as requiredModel the high level of customer service expected of all GameStop associates including, but not limited to, responding to voice mails and emails within organizationally defined timeframes, completing projects as committed, responding to others’ feedback appropriately, and making optimal use of organizationally limited resources by aiding other functional teams when appropriate

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

High school diploma or GED requiredThis position follows a standard Monday-Friday schedule but may require occasional evening or weekend availability during peak business periods.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel, Outlook, and WordProficient ability to operate a 10-key pad by touchWorking project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting prioritiesAbility to recognize discrepancies/errors in written/recorded data/information including the ability to initiate and respond to work errors in a professional manner, working collaboratively and cooperatively with othersAbility to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others; conduct working relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the organizationExperience with SAP, Coupa, and advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) is a plus.Consistently demonstrates a commitment to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities
