Supplier Management Analyst
This position is responsible for managing small to medium sized supplier relationships supporting the CLC, including holding suppliers to compliance standards, performance expectations, and finding and developing new suppliers. Incumbents participate in development and ongoing management of the supplier performance model. Often this is the first step in moving into higher level management of suppliers.
The primary functions will be interfacing directly with business areas across the organization and at various levels of management. The objectives are to drive efficiency, solve business problems, manage risk, and ensure compliance. Other job functions include analyzing opportunity, providing project updates, and process management.   Position Responsibilities   Supplier Management Daily management of assigned national contracts. Gather and analyze data and proactively make recommendations regarding process improvements, cost savings opportunities, etc. Monitor compliance with terms of agreement. Prepares quarterly (Performance Management: KPIs, SLAs, Spend. Coordinates with Third Party Risk on analysis of selected suppliers. Customer Service Point of contact for internal customers regarding program issues. General Business Completes special projects as assigned by manager. Helps maintain policies, procedures and other communication vehicles that assist employees to use the programs managed by this position. Reviews and codes invoices for payment after proper validation. Helps maintain information on supplier performance, gaps/challenges, etc. for the department.
Position Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred or 2 year Associates degree with 3 years of relevant experience or High School/GED with 5 years of relevant experience 3 years of experience in Supplier Accounting and expense management systems, such as Ariba 2 years of experience in analytical and communication skills 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Preferred: 2 years of experience in Contract Management experience or experience interpreting contracts Preferred: 1 year of experience in Power BI or related system experience Preferred: 1 year of exposure to forecasting and accruals Comerica Great Lakes Campus
