Learn how we keep our customers rolling by following us on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn, and by visiting progressrail.com . **Education / Training:** • College or university degree related to Supply Chain, or equivalent experience is preferred. **Job Title:** Supplier Cost Recovery (SCR) Administrator **City:** Muncie **Key Job Elements:** • Collaborate with multiple teams to develop and implement SCR process to completion on thousands of documents step-by-step; • Ensure production rework and opportunity costs are properly accounted, even when full information is unavailable; • Collaborate closely with supplier quality engineers and quality inspectors regarding the specifics non-conformances as needed; • Collaborate closely with buyers and suppliers regarding negotiation and settlement details; • Follow up with action owners of the process to completion; • Create purchase requisitions and orders for services and products for multiple locations; • Communicate with external suppliers and buyers in a professional manner; • Monitor metrics associated with job role responsibilities and action accordingly for improvement; • Perform other job-related duties as assigned; • Travel as required. **Qualifications and Experience:** • Experience in purchasing and negotiation; • Experience in quality and nonconformances • Ability to estimate costs when little information is a available; • Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and oral; ability to listen and communicate at all levels of the organization; • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, supplies, and equipment; • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; • Analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, organization, and time management skills; • Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications; • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP & LN; • Experience with quality systems such as ETQ; • Ability to handle multiple tasks and be a flexible team player; ability to switch gears when something is needed immediately and return to follow up on other projects; • Ability to travel when required. Essential and Physical Activities Functions • Strength – Position involves work in a manufacturing plant and office environment. Rare lifting; • Motion – Position requires frequent walking, standard repetitive motions, hand/eye coordination associated with research and central office communications; • Vision/Hearing Requirements – Frequent communications, including both talking and hearing; • Work Environment – Position will typically be located in an office environment; • Emotional Demands – Position is expected to work and cooperate as a part of a team in order to meet production requirements; • Safety – Position is primarily limited to general office safety and travel requirements. Summary Pay Range: $56,135.00 to $106,440.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
