The Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join our team in a critical Senior Supplier Engineering supporting Energetics role in Tucson, AZ. You will be involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. You will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. You will be involved in all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation. You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule. You will drive Raytheon design requirements to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will initiate continuous and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability. Our Supplier Engineering roles are a valued and integral part of our Supply Chain. Responsibilities to Anticipate: + Communicate and translate the technical data package to suppliers + Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk + Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis + Manage supplier requests for product and process changes + Manage product non-conformances; drive root cause and corrective action + Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities + Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders + Support travel as needed – 25% Qualifications You Must Have: + Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum 5 years’ relevant experience such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, system engineering, manufacturing & quality systems, technical supplier management + Experience in the following in any combination: working on or with shop floor staff, review technical drawings, evaluation of technical specifications, and/or working directly with suppliers + The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
