Supplier Experience - Procurement Transformation Lead

Job Description :

The Supplier Experience Tower is responsible for ensuring that the Source To Pay processes - spanning Sourcing, Ordering, Invoicing and Payment activities, across Tactical Procurement, PTP, and T&E process areas - are operating effectively & efficiently, are effectively led and drive value for Diageo, as well as ensuring the control agenda (SOX compliance) across all areas.

The Supplier Experience Strategy & Enablement team is responsible for handling & delivering the STP elements of Diageo’s Project Portfolio, including supporting the expansion of the Shared Services/STP Tower footprint across existing and new service lines.  Diageo’s Project Portfolio will include Transition Projects, SBM Projects and Local/Regional/Global Process Improvements, spanning all applications and processes within the STP scope - including COUPA, SAP and Concur. The STP Governance/ Transformation team will handle & deliver these Projects using the PACE Agile methodology

The Process SME is part of this team and is responsible for providing Business Analysis and Domain Expertise to deliver against Diageo’s Project Portfolio – typically through analyse and design.

The role requires good system and E2E STP process understanding, Governance/critical metric framework requisite for STP, Compliance, SOX controls and will work closely with the Supplier Experience management team. The SME will also be a business partner with STP Service Delivery and STP Systems teams across the STP global landscape. The role will also require good relationships with key stakeholders across the markets at all levels.

The role requires good leadership capabilities in the field of taking ownership, driving changes, visibility and stakeholder management due to the nature of the supported markets.

Organizational Context

Global Business Operations is a multi-functional shared service centre that is managing DIAGEO-wide transactions across various regions.  Processes in scope are: Consumer to Cash, Source to Pay, Financial Control, Planning & Reporting, and Treasury. Business Services is a multicultural, multi-language environment.

Market Complexity

The Supplier Experience Strategy & Enablement team has a global remit across STP Systems & Processes servicing most of Diageo’s markets and users across all regions including Europe, NAM, LAC, Africa and APAC.

Relationships:

Cross Business: Global, Regional and In-market Teams, Global IS Community including Programme/Project teams, Project stakeholders as well as other Process teams (Financial Control, E2E Commercial, Data).Internal: STP Service Delivery, STP Governance, STP Systems Admin teams across Budapest, Bogota, Bangalore and Manila.External: 3rd Party IS Service providers (eg. Infosys, TCS)

These relationships will encompass people based in a variety of locations and across multiple cultures, languages and time-zones.

The Customer Excellence Process Transformtion Lead (5B) is responsible for:

Ownership of Improve Agenda globally for Procurement TransformationSupporting procurement AVP to deliver the current & future project portfolio with impactSupport the E-sourcing agenda for procurement and adrive the improved penetration of E-sourcing toolsSupport our Catalogue improvement agenda and PR-PO Automation initiativesProviding Business Analysis & SME input to efficiently deliver ProjectsEnsuring Project Delivery is aligned to the STP Global Process FrameworkDesign & Implement Leading Edge solution & Technology to support the Transformation agendaSupport transformation of the existing procurement  process with their knowledge of the best in class, fit for purpose process’Support Transitions with task split validation, documentation review, knowledge sharingSupport in ensuring the process documents are up to date, embedded and process gaps are analysed and fed into process excellence strategySupport the STP Process Excellence agenda through process improvement, standardisation, simplification and automationSupport standardisation of the COE model within the procurement service line focusing on  process streamlining & optimisation, effective resource utilization and global standardized ways of workingIndividual Contributor role though will need to work alongside various business partnersEffective Business Partnering with Key Stakeholders across Diageo to ensure the insights into their projects & change requirements

Qualifications and Experience Required

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Procurement Transformation roleExperience with source to pay Processes and driving continuous improvement is a mustCompetent in End user System experience – Coupa , Ariba , CLM , SAPHave in depth knowledge of core skills like contracting , Strategic sourcing, CLM, Alternative low-costSourcing, Purchasing,  SAP MM (PO, material master & agreements, Process and people managementPG degree in finance or BusinessSix Sigma Belt Certified is an add on.Knowledge of STP Governance framework, Controls and Key performance indicatorsCompetent in leading Analyse & Design phases of a projectBasic People and Project Management skillsCompetent in working with remote teams. Good experience of building, developing and sustaining relationships with key stakeholdersAble to work proactively and effectively in cross functional and global team at all levels in an organisationFlexible on shift timings / Flexible Working options / Travel requirements/ Per Local Policy/ Some travel may be required but not extensive.
