Gordon Food Service is hiring a Supplier Portal Administrator. Responsible for managing and executing supplier portal user support for direct and indirect suppliers and other intermediaries. Manages the relationships between GDSN providers and GFS, and provides direction to GDSN providers in alignment with GFS objectives. Provides a positive customer experience by applying knowledge and exceptional written and verbal communication to resolve technical and business issues effectively, while minimizing escalation to other support tiers. Measures issue types, escalations, and resolutions and maintains support documentation. Creates and communicates issue summaries and key portal experience analytics. Identifies inefficiencies and service gaps and recommends future features and capabilities to leadership. 

Responsibilities:

Provides direction for GDSN providers in alignment with GFS objectives.

Responsible for the catalog data synchronization between GFS core data systems and the vendor item catalogs.

Accountable for the vendor selection, execution, integration and relationship between GFS and GDSN service provider. 

Provides support for portal enrollment, logon credentials, and other portal technical issues.

Conducts and manages user account set-up and ongoing account maintenance.

Provides Level 1 support for GDSN, Supplier Portal, applications, and features.

Collaborates with the Item Data team to understand GDSN requirements and desired enhancements.

Provides general business support for Gordon Food Service supplier policies, expectations, workflows, and contacts.

Responsible for providing primary and reinforcement training of supplier portal administrators.

Trains and assists supplier administrators with user account management tasks.

Analyzes customer requests and feedback and makes enhancement recommendations designed to increase user visits and satisfaction.

Assists Product Owner with documenting and prioritizing user stories and use cases for new features and portal functionality.

Maintains appropriate business and technical knowledge on digital products, business processes, and expectations.

Collaborates with Product Owner, Digital Lead, and business associates on major code updates and releases.

May include 2nd and 3rd level technical or business support activity on specific applications.

Responsible for acquiring and publishing portal content that is appropriate, timely, and relevant to the supplier community.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Ideal candidate will have:

Knowledge of Supply Chain, Procure-to-Pay activities, their actors and stakeholders

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Understands the principle and process for providing excellent customer service  

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Advanced knowledge of Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Apple Safari

Broad knowledge of common computer and application issues, user interface behaviors, and their solutions

Time Management - Ability to multi task, prioritize and work efficiently 

High attention to detail

Understands and applies principles of digital marketing and digital experience

Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently 

Knowledge of Unified User Management Software

Knowledge of mobile technology: Android and Apple devices, iOS and O/S

Experience:

Bachelor's degree required

One to three years previous experience: Help Desk, Technology, Supply Chain,
