Supplier Quality Analyst

Our teams have repeatedly been recognized for outstanding performance by some of the most prestigious organizations in the world including The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, NASA & Northrop Grumman.    Supplier Quality Analyst (Power and Actuation Systems)     Job Summary/purpose of the position: To assure supplier compliance to Marotta Quality requirements including workmanship and performance requirements as delineated in Purchase Orders, drawings and specifications/standards imposed on the supplier.   Job Specification Essential job functions and responsibilities Work with the Power and Actuation Systems (PAS) Supply Chain Administer the Supplier Corrective Action process Perform reporting of Supplier action plans and follow-ups with Suppliers regarding status of Actions Evaluate compliance of Suppliers to defined Marotta Quality Requirements Participate in the development of Supplier audit plans/audit schedules and perform Supplier audits Identify Supplier process improvements Perform follow-up verification audits to assure effectiveness of any corrective action taken as a result of a finding or opportunity for improvement Education, Certifications, and Years of Experience Bachelor’s degree is required. (degree in Science or Mathematics is preferred) Minimum Required Qualifications Working Knowledge of International Aerospace Quality Standards - AS9100, ISO9001. Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel within the organization. Knowledgeable about manufacturing processes. Strong computer literacy (with various databases and apps including but not limited to MS Office, and demonstrated experience with applicable systems, programs, equipment, etc.). Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities including a working knowledge of statistical process control.
Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA). This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance, therefore you must be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Must be a US Citizen. Additional requirements Must be Computer literate (MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint), flow chart and statistical/analytical software packages Strong interpersonal, written, time management, analytical, statistical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills Demonstrate the ability to read, interpret documents (i.e. procedures, schematics/technical drawings, etc.) Position requires a detail-oriented individual who can multi-task, provide leadership (project/assignment related), work in a fast-paced environment and communicate issues in a timely/effective manner. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to conditions typical of a manufacturing/machine shop environment, including, but not limited to fluids, fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, noise and vibration This job interacts both in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners/copier machine, as well as environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing and foot protection (as required). Temperature of work environment may be affected by outside/external temperatures, machining processes, etc. Travel potential for this position 30-50%. Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
