Don't wait... apply today! **Job Title:** Supplier Quality Engineer **Location:** Charlotte, NC **Pay Range:** $40.00-45.00 per hour **What's the Job?** + Conduct supplier qualification and development + Collaborate with multi-cultural environment with different departments locally and globally + Address nonconformances with conducting containment, RCA, and implementing preventative measures & risk mitigation measures + Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root cause analysis and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation measurements at the supplier + Participate design review as main interface of SQM with design engineers **What's Needed?** + Bachelor of Science Degree required in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a similar discipline. Masters Degree desired Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered. + Experience performing supplier qualification, product/ process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured and cost-effective supply base for responsible suppliers + Experience in leading projects and running virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment + Extensive knowledge in welding and coating.
