Job Title: Quality Engineer Job Description - Coordinate and lead Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventative Action implementation for customer complaints and internal quality defects. - Create, update and revise internal documentation such as work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures. - Manage non-conforming dispositions through the Material Review Board (MRB) process. - Maintain a culture that adheres to ISO9001 certification through the internal audit process. - Report on the Cost of Poor Quality in daily management. - Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) and follow up to ensure supplier responds on time and with a clear resolution. - Support the collection of data to establish Supplier performance in a Supplier Scorecard - Generate performance reports for Suppliers - Perform First Article Inspections of new purchased parts - Attend meetings relating to Supplier performance - Perform presentations to company or customer management of departments as necessary - Assess the incoming inspection needs based on part and supplier performance Hard Skills + Quality Engineering + Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings + Experience interacting with customers or third-party vendors About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
