Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Installation Products division at the Manufacturing Facility in Hackettstown, NJ. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDriving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.•\tDirecting resolution of product Quality issues in manufacturing due to supplier non-conformance including, containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and future risk assessment.•\tWorking together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.•\tEnsuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base. Qualifications for the roleBachelor’s degree in Engineering. 3+ years of experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, or related roles.Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP).Ability to travel up to 15%. Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards.Certification in Six Sigma Green belt, ASQ-CQE, and/or CQA is a plus.
