In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Defines the material receiving inspection system and leads all aspects of the control of non-conforming materials (MRB).
Provides quality data and information for evaluating suppliers.
Collaborates in defining quality criteria for direct raw materials.
Works to maintain the approved supplier list.
Contributes to the approval process for direct material suppliers and recommends supplier status.
Conducts external audits of direct material suppliers.
Participates and contributes in the supplier development team, coordinating and leading periodic internal and external meetings sought at improving supplier components and processes.
Issues Corrective Actions to suppliers (SCAR) and handles the SCAR system.
Provides information and supplier quality metrics to maintain the organization advised through timely and accurate weekly, monthly, quarterly reports among others.
Promotes, and participates in the formation of continuous improvement teams
Assures the quality of the certificates of raw material provided by the suppliers
Analyzes and improves through continuous improvement scrap levels caused by vendor faulty material
Stays in sync with all safety policies, reports immediately any situation of risk and participates actively with actions to improve safety in his area of control.

Supplier quality assurance Metrology and GD&T ISO 9001:2008 Quality System including Supplier corrective actions Knowledge of external approvals Suppliers development and supplier audits Bachelor degree in engineering, preferred in materials, Mechanics, electromechanics, Mechatronics or similar.
