Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer on a contract-hire basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing weekly client reporting on auditing, corrective actions, and implementing changes made on quality. You will use your working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001, Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Controls, ESD Controls, and measurement techniques. Verification and validation duties will be a key part of this role.
ResponsibilitiesProvide weekly client reporting on auditing, corrective actions, and quality changes implemented.Utilize working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.Implement and manage Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Controls and ESD Controls.Perform verification and validation duties.Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.Create detailed quality documentation and reports.Perform supplier audits and evaluate supplier performance.Develop and manage corrective action plans to meet quality standards.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering and quality engineering.Proficiency in performing verifications and validation of root cause analysis, corrective actions, and auditing results.Experience in creating detailed reports for the management team.Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with quality assurance and quality control.Familiarity with supplier audits and supplier performance evaluation.Skilled in implementing quality standards and assembly hand techniques.Work Environment
The role will be based at a 200-person aerospace manufacturing site, which includes both office space and a production/manufacturing floor.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
