Position Overview Supplier Quality Intern – Summer 2025 We’re International. We build International trucks and engines and IC Bus® school and commercial buses, as well as develop Fleetrite aftermarket parts. We are seeking interns pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering, which will provide you with a hands-on opportunity to dive into the world of innovation and technology by working at Supplier Quality Department. About the Intern Program 12-week program with start dates on: May 12th or 19th, or June 2nd 40 hours per week Must graduate between December 2025 - May 2027 Responsibilities Quick, in-depth learning of International business systems and processes Work on Quality Management Systems documentation, including develop, implement, maintain, and control process documents. Build and manage relationships with end users, cross-functional teams, vendors, and management through collaboration projects. Anticipate potential problems, be proactive and manage changes to ensure projects are on time and within budget. Work with external suppliers and internal cross functional teams to review PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), continuous improvement projects, and problem solving. Maintains consistent and clear communication with executive leadership and key stakeholders on status and resolution of critical supplier issues. Travel to International manufacturing locations, suppliers and customers as required. Minimum Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B or F-1 status) Desired Skills Pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering Strong written, verbal, and presentation communications skills Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines Knowledge of basic manufacturing, computer, and software skills Ability to work on MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Attention to detail, willingness to achieve high standards and continuously improve Minimum required cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Able to work at least 12 weeks (starting the end of May or early June through August) Previous applicable internships Self-starter Benefits and Compensation We provide a competitive total rewards package which ensures job satisfaction both on and off the job. The expected compensation hourly pay ranges for hires into our campus intern openings is $24 - $38/hour. The hourly pay rate is based on year in school and is non-negotiable.
