Supplier Quality Project Analyst

Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Supplier Quality Project Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Quality Project Management ownership.Create/update reports from SAP and Excel based on the collection and collation of data.Monitor movements/status changes of non-conforming inventory for Axalta’s manufacturing site.Graphical analysis of inventory trending inclusive of Control Charts/ Statistical Process Control (SPC) based on predefined targets.Administer reports for management providing gap-to-target and Pareto’s to find most likely causes for gaps and actions.Block or restrict expired or out-of-specification raw materials in SAP.Assign engineering requests in SalesForce.com for non-conforming Raw Material evaluation and recertification.Compile LWR (Lab Work Request) when requested by Chemist/ Quality-Lab/ etc.Follow up on disposition progress of non-conforming inventory and LWR plans.Issue reports on inventory levels and values of scrapped/recovered materials.Collaborate with Raw Material planners for inventory management and Supply Chain needs.Partner with Operations and SAP (ERP/MRP experts) re. expiring Raw Materials management (ex. disposition, work-down, recertify, etc. plans.)Organize work streams and procedures for non-conforming inventory handling.Lead/ Support optimization of material flow processes.Supporting core processes aligned with Supplier Quality Administration.Certificate of Analysis processing.Raw Material Cost Down project support.Supplier Development (auditing, training, standardization, visits, etc.).

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in technical or relevant field (business, math, statistics) required with Bachelor’s degree preferred.Project Management experience specific to Supplier Quality.Minimum of 2 years Coatings industry or Supplier Quality work experience. ABS/ 6-Sigma/ Shainin Red-X trained certification preferred.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Strong organization skills. Issue resolution (problem investigation) and technical problem-solving skillsProficiency with Pareto/ Paynter/ 5-Why/ Ishikawa/ A3/ 8D preferred.Spreadsheet analytical skills (Excel, Minitab).Self-motivated and self-directed.Willing to seek out answers to solve inventory and database problems.Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).SAP, Salesforce and/or other database knowledge preferred.
