As a Supplier Quality Specialist, you'll be a key player in our collaborative environment, working hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.
How you will make an impact:Perform supplier qualifications in support of QMS including, supplier audits, review of Quality Agreements, review of certifications, and review of supplier surveys.Documentation supportMaintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL)Review and support Supplier Corrective Action requests (SCARs) and responsesWork with cross-functional teams to integrate and communicate supplier expectationsFacilitate meetings between Engineering, Supplier Management, and PurchasingMonitor supplier performance and supplier qualifications to assist in maintaining the status of the supplierSupport development and maintenance of supplier management procedures and processesSupport supplier management process improvementsSupport QMS collection and trending of supplier-related quality dataManage and maintain supplier quality databasesTo be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:Associates/Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent working experience is preferred3+ years of experience with Supplier QualityExperience auditing external suppliers recommendedCorrective and Preventive Action with suppliersSupport and Participate in compliance and regulatory audits and inspectionsStrong written/verbal communication skills, attention to detailAbility to work with cross-functional teamsAbility to interpret mechanical drawingsAbility to analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret resultsSkilled in various computer programs. Including but not limited to: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, OneNote, ERP and MRP tools
