Supplier/Vendor Master Manager (SAP)
Overview Location: Must live 90 miles from office location in Plano, TX or Purchase, NY. Relocation is not provided. What PepsiCo Data Management and Operations (DMO) does: Maintain a predictable, transparent, global operating rhythm that ensures always-on access to high-quality data for stakeholders across the company Responsible for day-to-day master data collection, transportation, maintenance/curation and access to the PepsiCo corporate data asset Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to centralize data and standardize it for use by business, data science or other stakeholders Increase awareness about available master data and democratize access to it across the company The purpose of this role is to: Team up with DQ team to ensure Supplier DQ Define global Supplier Master Data strategies and tactics including MDM processes and E2E processes involvement Define and lead Supplier Master Data standardization across systems & markets Ensure local Supplier master data processes are aligned with Global standardization Continuous improvement of Supplier Master Data processes across the globe Sustain and increase quality and automation in Supplier master data maintenance and ensuring operation excellence of all Supplier data to reporting definition for Supplier objects in scope Provide leadership and management to DMO organization regarding Supplier domain, managing processes and Supplier workflows Manage and scale Supplier data from internal data sources and drive data quality and performance Responsible for implementing best practices around systems, performance and Supplier data management Build and own the automation and monitoring frameworks that captures metrics and operational KPIs for Supplier data quality and performance Partner with enterprise Supplier data governance to establish Supplier master data management strategy Define and manage SLA's for Supplier data products and processes running in production. Support GBS on issues related to operations according to domain and region Communicate with other DMO sector capability leads and business functions to drive the data management processes continuous improvement based on global/sector/local business needs Support business projects from a DMO side (data analysis, data cleansing, data requirements identification, change management, etc.) Work together with the other DMO sector teams to identify best practices and implement them to standardize and harmonize processes across the sector Responsibilities 3rd level escalation for master data management (MDM) exception management and issue resolution Supports Sector DMO Lead and develop master data management (MDM) policies/methodology, role model, data quality standard and maintain governance processes improvement plans Process owner for key controls on Supplier domain to ensure that the established controls and reporting requirements are executed per schedule by the control owners and are compliant to the audit rules Supports Sector DMO Lead to structure sector master data management (MDM) domain, data model and maintain master data glossary Drives continuous master data management (MDM) improvement by managing processes, monitoring compliance/ security, data quality and key master data entities, conducting risk assessment Organizes E2E master data maintenance process through strong communication and engagement with business Ensure Data Governance sector level through providing data standards and methodologies and closely collaborating with Global Data Governance team and peers in other sectors Analyzes KPIs, main metrics, SLAs, OLAs across the markets and provides guidance as needed to business and GBS Responsible for ensuring domain DQ executions and adhoc mass update requests are executed per the globally established process and is adhered to with the right oversight for smooth executions Supports Global and business initiatives involving Master Data agenda Supports and grows master data management capabilities by domain across sector Creates master data management reference documents (procedures, instructions, other) Build extensive know-how for the specific data domain Drive standardization across processes, systems and markets within specific domain Provide leadership to the Capability Champions Support global and local projects Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 - $172,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications 8+ years of master data management (MDM) or related experience, especially in Supplier Master data governance Bachelor degree required Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods Companies (GPC) preferred Effective communications skills and presentation results to stakeholders High analytical skills Strong project management background including understanding business needs to translate into operational requirements High experience in Supplier MD (Master Data) E2E processes workflow Skills, Abilities, Knowledge: Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data sets and align, influence the business and the leadership across the sector and regions with varying business acumen Demonstrate leadership skills including team development and program management that facilitates effective team interaction Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in enterprise master data with the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential data issues, and recommend comprehensive solutions Significant experience and deep understanding of functional domains like Supply Chain, Planning, Purchasing, Sales, Finance as well as technologies such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4, SAP MDG or other ERP system (Oracle, Lia Soft and other) Knowledge of system architecture, data strategies, and data governance Enterprise-wide data quality and risk management expertise including understanding/running of standards, processes, methods, and tools Strong change manager. Comfortable with change, especially that which arises through company growth. Able to lead a team effectively through times of change.
