We are currently seeking a Supplier Warranty Manager to join our staff at either our world headquarters in Lisle or our Advanced Technology Center in Elmendorf, TX which is just outside San Antonio.

The Supplier Warranty Manager will interface directly with a diverse group of suppliers to recover warranty claim expense incurred by International. Working with cross-functional groups within International (Customer Service, Reliability and Quality, Engineering and Supplier Quality) the Supplier Warranty Manager shares information to aid in identifying root cause of a failure and report back any issues in diagnosis and repair, or in the case of supplier defect, recovery of warranty expense incurred per our agreement.
This role will also be responsible for maintaining and negotiating warranty, campaign/recall, and settlement agreements.

Responsibilities Manages the relationship of a group of suppliers to ensure financial reimbursement of monies paid out on warranty claims comes back to International.Works collaboratively with the product review center, category management teams and dealer network.Provides administrative support of the supplier recovery, failed material return process and charge back/appeal process. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degreeAt least 5 years of field service, engineering, product management, or reliability experience

OR

Master's degreeAt least 3 years of field service, engineering, product management, or reliability experience

OR

At least 7 years of field service, engineering, product management, or reliability experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. International Motors does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical aptitude using Excel and PowerBI
• Experience in contract negotiation
• Effective negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive/trucking/heavy industry
