See what it's like to work at GROWMARK: https://youtu.be/CSVMnKCySsY * _PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT_* Responsible for managing and supporting customer supply/service/sales support functions, supply availability and communications, vendor/terminal relations, price maintenance, MAP administration, and product and terminal setups of refined and renewable fuels that ultimately leads to superior customer experience, sales growth, and profitability for the Energy Division. Assist is leading, training and developing Supply Specialist. * _ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS_* Coordinates, manages and implements customer sales, supply, logistical process and support services for assigned refined and renewable fuels customers and member companies, in a manner that meets customer’s needs, and supports the Energy Division’s budgeted volume and gross income targets. Works collaboratively with Energy Marketing, Market Development, Energy Customer Service and Energy Accounting to provide superior customer service. Coordinates, executes and communicates, supply/availability, allocations and customer issues to appropriate members of the Energy Operations, Customer Care, Marketing, Market Development and Logistics staff, as well as Energy Accounting and Treasury. Coordinates the monitoring, managing and communicating of all assigned vendor/terminal/product allocations, availabilities and outages, and any consequential customer allocations and availabilities to customers and appropriate members of Energy Supply, Logistics and Marketing teams. Coordinates, executes and implements all procedures, processes, and communications for internal and external refined, renewable and propane rack, off-rack and forward contract setups (consignee/carrier/materials/pants/pricing conditions, etc.), within GMK vendor or third-party applications. Provides leadership and guidance to the Supply Specialist on the day-to-day processes associated with establishing customer supply, customer supply agreement management, material and customer setups, vendor carrier setups, MAP assignments, price maintenance processes and procedures, analyzing customer/member sales, distribution and operational needs. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all GROWMARK, Energy and third party supported software applications (SAP, Business Objects, DTN tabs, DTN Fuel Buyer, DTN Data connect, myGROWMARK, etc.). Provides leadership in training, maintenance and process improvement for applicable applications, as well as maintains relative tables and associated maintenance programs. Coordinates and provides leadership to the Supply Specialist on the analysis of cost changes and vendor invoice discrepancies (VIM) and subsequent resolution with Energy Customer Service and Energy Accounting. Coordinates in a collaborative effort with Logistics/Dispatch/Transportation by investigating loading and supply availability issues in a timely manner that ultimately lead to favorable resolutions and ultimate customer satisfaction. Coordinates and communicates with designated DVS vendors and terminal operators on product setups, allocations, and supply availability issues. Collaborates with Supply & Trading, Energy Risk, Customer Service, Logistics, Energy Accounting and Accounting Operations on terminal, product, carrier, contract, and customer setups with new and existing vendors and terminal operators to ensure accurate, timely, and seamless execution. Coordinates with Energy Division staff to ensure after hours assistance is available for customers and logistics during the busy season, including weekend coverage on a revolving basis. Serves as the primary backup to Supply Specialist, as well as assisting with backup roles for Supply Support Manager in their absence. * _OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS_* Prepares special reports as requested. Performs all other duties as assigned. Required to handle multiple job functions by backing up key members of the Supply & Trading team during times of absences to ensure constant business continuity. Requires after-hours and weekend monitoring of supply, outages, pricing and logistical loading issues on a revolving basis to ensure just in time inventory and superior customer satisfaction. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Understanding and experience with energy-related areas including marketing and sales, branding, products, price strategy, competitive adeptness, negotiation, product proficiency, resources optimization, and policies and procedures along with marketing strategy, plans, program execution, budgeting, and communications. Demonstrated knowledge of planning, organization, problem-solving competitive adeptness, costing and pricing strategies, program execution, budgeting and communications. Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently, through others and in a team-oriented environment. Proven computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Power Point) and the ability to learn SAP ECC and Business Objects. Ability to work hours beyond those considered normal. Must have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
