Position Summary: The Supply and Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for managing the allocation process and assisting the Supply and Demand Planners with day-to-day article replenishment across multiple merchandise categories as well as assist with new store and remodel replenishment. The position will work cross-functionally and collaboratively with Store Operations, Marketing, Warehouses, and other relevant business partners.
Principal DutiesAssist Demand Planners with day to day activities involving forecasting. Provide analysis of test results using BW and ERP reports. Manage SAP allocations process for Marketing for new product introductions, promotions, and campaign awareness.Assist the Replenishment team to maximize the effectiveness of their key objectives and strategies with detailed analysis around inventory, demand planning and cost reduction initiatives.Assist the Supply and Demand Planning teams in executing supply chain strategies to optimize inventories. Monitor the overall supply chain inventory (demand points, distributors) to respond effectively to the supply needs balancing between inventory levels and out of stocks. Review strategy and opportunities to improve demand point stock positioning.Manage the SAP Rebate and Allocation functionality process working with Marketing, Strategic Sourcing, NJDC, Finance and WBC. Integrate the process into the procedures for the update and maintenance of article data, while providing a clear picture of profitability at the store, category and product level. Perform article blends in SAP.Preform article site level analysis around sales, spoilage, and shrink.Work with Replenishment leadership team and key stakeholders to identify and resolve system and process conflicts. Find process improvements around the allocation process and to drive efficiencies. Assist Supply and Demand Planners to identify external factors that have a significant influence on Supply and Demand through analysis. Partner with Distribution Centers and stores to resolve replenishment issues.Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and work cross-functionally within team on solutions. Assist in the implementation of solutions.Assist both Supply and Demand Planners on documenting current business processes.Assist with holiday planning.Essential Functions:
