This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Supply Chain Administrator to join Smurfit Westrock Hamilton, supporting the supply of high quality, spiral wound and shaped composite tubes. Key customers include premium Scotch and Irish whisk(e)y as well as a growing number of premium rum and food customers.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for calling in orders and stock to ensure that orders are completed on time and in line with schedule.Run purchase requirements, maintain purchase ordersRaise purchase orders for materials, liaise with suppliers on order confirmation/deliveriesWeekly stock check & reconcile material in Hamilton Weekly stock reconciliation of material in outside warehouseRun weekly work in progress report, check job cost and close off any completed work ordersUpdate plan with material information Liaise with production managers Provide cover for switchboard and receptionProcess data from production, issue materials to work ordersPopulate reports, book in deliveries and stock transfers, reconcile supplier invoices
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
Ideally 2 years experience gained within a similar role/industryExcellent administrative skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsGood working knowledge of IT software; i.e. Microsoft Suite Self motivation with the ability to think individually with well reasoned decision making qualities and confidence to follow through the decisionsAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced & high volume manufacturing environmentAbility to react quickly and adapt to change on a daily basisConfidence to deal with a range of internal and external customersPassionate about results and fundamental belief in Health & Safety, Quality, Performance & trainingGood attention to detail and problem solving skillsAbility to use own initiative, work within a team as well as work on your own. Ability to prioritise workload and be self motivatedPossess excellent organisational skills
