We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to effectively drive enhancement of our Supply Chain Inventory, Shipping, Receiving and Transportation strategies. In this role, you will lead projects, own value-stream KPIs, and develop mechanisms for communicating status, risk, and business challenges. The ideal candidate must be adept at cross-team coordination, project management, and analyze data, with a proven history of delivering results.
Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
Key job responsibilities
- Optimizing and managing the flow of goods within the supply chain network.
- Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into program blockers.
- Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
- Analyze and synthesize data to identify opportunities for enhancement of the customer experience.
- Identify, drive and document improvement initiatives to help with a fast-scaling program.
This position is Seattle based and will required 5 days a week in the office work schedule; this position may have up to 10% domestic travel.
A day in the life
Being a Supply Chain Manager for Amazon Prime Air involves lots of problem solving. You’ll work with a number of teams to navigate challenges when situations impact our business. You’ll spend time resolving tactical issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving a large-scale drone delivery service for our customers.
