Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst

Job Description

Manage day-to-day Supply Chain MRP planning activities including direct purchase order placement, vendor communication/follow-up, reorder point/safety stock calculations, tactical communication across the organization, and supply risk assessment. Implement and support single site or moderate risk level changes to business tools and processes with a primary focus on tactical projects. Analyze materials and sources to recommend improvements and lead moderate-level projects implementing process changes. Communicate project status to management through status reports and formal updates. Identify and establish policies and procedures for the supply chain. Collect, analyze data, offer solutions, and implement them to achieve desired results. Develop and complete tactical and strategic work plans for projects and provide back-up support for area coordinators, supervisors, and managers.

ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day Supply Chain MRP planning activities including direct purchase order placement, vendor communication/follow-up, reorder point/safety stock calculations, tactical communication across the organization, and supply risk assessment.Implement and support single site or moderate risk level changes to business tools and processes focusing on continuous process improvement.Analyze materials and sources to recommend improvements and enhancements.Lead moderate and mid-level projects implementing process changes.Communicate project status to management through status reports and formal updates.Identify and establish policies and procedures for the supply chain.Collect and analyze data to define and solve intermediate risk or level problems and implement solutions.Recognize, develop, and complete tactical and strategic work plans for single site or moderate risk projects.Develop and implement business process improvements.Lead single site or moderate level cross-functional projects.Work independently and thrive in a non-hierarchical organization.Provide back-up support for area coordinators, supervisors, and managers.Essential SkillsMinimum of a 2-year degree and 1-year experience in supply chain analysis.4-year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Technology, or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum of 1-year experience in MRP planning, preferably with SAP, within a manufacturing environment.Minimum of 1-year experience working with Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups).Experience in supply chain, ERP, SAP, material planning, inventory management.About Actalent
