Your Role at KIK
The Supply Chain Analyst reports to the Director of Planning. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely availability of products to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and inventory levels. This role involves analyzing demand forecasts, creating supply plans, and coordinating production schedules to balance supply and demand effectively. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Production, Procurement, and Logistics, to monitor inventory levels, identify potential supply chain disruptions, and implement corrective actions as needed. Key responsibilities include optimizing inventory to prevent stockouts and overstock situations, managing lead times, and adjusting plans based on changing market conditions. Additionally, you will support process improvement initiatives, contribute to strategic planning efforts, and prepare reports on key supply metrics to inform decision-making. Effective communication, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels to meet customer service and inventory targets. Perform safety stock analysis to determine appropriate inventory stocking levels. Creates and distributes work order to production floor (internal and external manufacturers). Serves as primary point of contact to local 3PL activities including cost and service metrics. Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments. Initiate transfers between plant and 3PL warehouse. Work closely with Supply Planning and Operations leadership to ensure alignment on production forecast and potential operational impacts. Work closely with Household operations teams to investigate late sales orders, researching root causes when exceptions occur and drive solutions. Lead process improvement initiatives. Project management (new SKU introductions, rationalization, etc.) Work on logistics cost savings initiatives to deliver bottom line impact. Monitor cycle counts and manage warehouse related entries to ensure accurate inventories to meet customer demands. Provides supervisory direction for external manufacturers cycle counter and buyer personnel including all aspects of personnel performance, staffing, training, and discipline within the department. Evaluate and coordinate the disposition of excess and obsolete inventory. Responsible for standardization and execution of ad hoc Supply Chain reporting
What You’ll Bring
B.S degree in business or related field (Supply Chain preferred) Minimum of 1 year supply chain or data analyst experience (Manufacturing preferred) Strong analytical skills and statistical knowledge. Understanding of multiple regression models. Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Proven ability to work and influence at multiple levels of the organization. Demonstrated experience in an ERP system – SAP strongly preferred. Advance user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Excellent written/verbal communications and strong analytical/problem solving skills Strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work both independently and in a team setting. Must also be able to multitask and prioritize efficiently. Ability to take initiative to solve problems
