Supply Chain Analyst
Description We are seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team in Princeton, Jersey. This role involves overseeing operational activities, vendor relationships, and continuous improvement projects within the Supply Chain department. Responsibilities: • Manage and coordinate daily scheduling of inbound and outbound deliveries with various stakeholders • Monitor and troubleshoot exceptions in the shipping and receiving process, reporting deviations to key stakeholders • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to management, identifying process improvement opportunities • Understand and review vendor agreements, service performance, and invoices for non-compliance regularly • Facilitate the timely approval of invoices for payment in coordination with the relevant department • Maintain detail-oriented business relationships with vendors, tracking performance against targets and identifying critical issues • Oversee and execute the invoice audit, approval, and communication processes for assigned transportation and logistics vendors • Continually review supply chain data and operational transactions, identifying challenges and opportunities • Use Excel and statistical analysis to generate and maintain KPIs in line with strategic business goals • Participate in project teams and ad hoc activities to support continuous improvement within the Supply Chain department. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Supply Chain Analyst role. • Proven proficiency in ERP solutions, with the ability to utilize these tools for inventory analysis and financial reporting. • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining positive relationships with vendors and managing vendor relationships effectively. • Experience in forecasting, including the prediction of inbound and outbound shipments to optimize supply chain operations. • In-depth knowledge of invoice processing, with the ability to identify and resolve any discrepancies promptly. • Demonstrated experience in managing both inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in line with company standards. • Strong skills in inventory analysis, with the ability to monitor stock levels and make recommendations for inventory replenishment. • Experience in managing vendor relationships, ensuring a steady supply of necessary materials and resolving any issues that may arise. • Proficiency in financial reporting, with the ability to provide accurate and comprehensive reports on supply chain operations.
