Supply Chain Analyst
Position Objective:
Under general supervision, responsible for the management and maintenance of the Supply Chain Management ERP system and coordination of applications and tools. The Supply Chain Analyst will be involved in all aspects of Supply Chain information systems including item master maintenance, PAR Excellence system support, GHX administration and reporting support for Sourcing and Contracts. This role will also provide internal customers with the best possible solutions to utilize the supply chain systems, identify potential process improvements, troubleshoot problems, support supply chain reporting, and provide user training and support. As part of the Supply Chain team, the supply chain analyst provides analysis and data for the development and monitoring of supply chain savings initiatives for the Health System.

Generates reports for Supply Chain including, data integrity, contact compliance, performance indicators, risk compliance and other ad-hoc request.Manage price discrepancy by validating contract price from current agreements, tier alignment and price loaded in the ERP system.Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity in item master, vendor master, contract management for comparison with other data sources to improve data accuracy.Work closely with Contract Coordinators to investigate and resolve EDI exceptions and errors. Work closely with vendors and GHX to improve existing integrations and implement new integrations.Perform ad-hoc analysis ranging from open exploratory data analysis to specific root cause analysis.Conduct meetings in conjunction with Contract Coordinators and the Sourcing and Contracts Manager regarding expiring contracts, contract compliance and contract price discrepancies.Perform due diligence reviews for new or changes to existing contracts, vendors and item master.Monitor contract upload/update to ensure data accuracy and contract alignment between PeopleSoft and GHX/Premier. Monitor and review price change notifications to ensure pricing accuracy.Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, identify issues, analyze multiple data sources and information and recommend changes to management.Respond to user queries and work with supply chain teams, Information Systems/ERP team, business owners to process new contracts and third party (vendor) submissions.Own and manage vendor consolidation by gathering information to update contract, item master, vendor master, par/inventory vendor.Create queries using available reporting tools in PeopleSoft, GHX and Premier to gather data from various data sets.Gain comprehensive knowledge and understanding of health system contract compliance, contract lifecycle management and third-party due diligence policies and procedures.Work toward becoming the subject matter expert by understanding current system functionality and configuration to drive data accuracy and standardization.Work with vendors and GHX partner to obtain ship to accounts, specification and requirements for delivery of EDI transaction sets. Support the setup and maintenance of vendor accounts on Supply Chain ERP system.Monitor, research and determine root cause of EDI transaction failures and communicate to the effected parties.Assist with data integrity issues and resolution of issues within supply chain system databases.Keep updated a set of tools and data to be used to perform market share calculations, population trends, and other analysis.Educational/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. MBA, CPA or Master’s degree Healthcare administration desired.Minimum two years of applicable experience is required. Healthcare-related finance/supply chain background and experience with contracting or purchasing is preferred.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or reporting/spend analysis systems required (Tableau, Premier Reporting tools, Power BI, etc.)Additional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.RequiredLicense/Certifications:
