Position Summary:

Provides business analysis to the supply chain functions such as engineering, marketing managers, procurement, materials management of not just one plant but across different plants and other business unit in reviewing, analyzing, documenting and validating user requirements, applications and processes. Enhances product workflow and develops supply chain project plans to streamline production planning, distribution order management and inventory control providing visibility to customers, commercial businesses and all supply chain functions. This position typically supports not just one business entity.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

· Have at least 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably but not required ( Computer Science, Supply Chain related courses, Industrial Engineering)

· Detail oriented and accurate.

· Oracle / SAP Knowledge

· Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, others)

· Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets.

· Flexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time, can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks accordingly.

· Very good communication skills, verbal and written.

· Self-starter and a strong team player.

· Sophisticated problem-solver

Major Responsibilities:

1. Lead and collaborate with different cross functional managers with regards to their supply chain project plans in supporting the business tactical and strategic business plans.

2. Ensure and maintain supplier pricing accuracy

3. Ability to build an RFP based on existing specification and pricing data

4. Ability to analyze RFPs and provide costing comparison

5. Maintain the direct material dashboard

6. Gathers and evaluates data/ Specifications from multiple sources of different business units and different systems. Analyzes, reconciles and identifies measurable opportunities for improvement. Identifies and implements audit processes/ cost opportunities per the category manager’s instructions to ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported and resolved in a timely manner.

7. Initiate the Strategic Sourcing KPI accuracy analysis and provide a deeper analysis on the dynamics of the monthly KPI report. Participate on the Strategic Sourcing monthly cadence and discussion to help give a better understanding on how the metric is coming using the analysis done on KPI scorecard. Provide complex data analysis in aiding the creation of business decisions of the whole business unit.

8. Liaisons with product managers, materials managers, and support teams to drive projects to timely completion. Manages the project portfolio, provides feedback to the leadership team on resource planning, issues, opportunities, and recommendations to improve timeliness.

9. Develops and maintains processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity of supply chain applications across multiple plants and multiple business units. Creates and maintains workflows and approval processes based on internal stakeholder requirements

10. Acts as subject matter expert for new processes, KPI’s, and data management and aid in training for new processes. Collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Partners with various managers to design optimal solutions that meet the business needs of our internal and external customers.

11. Manages ongoing support requests to support supply planning leads (material managers, plant managers and product managers). Interfaces with functional leads to transform and develop new requirements into supply chain projects and implementation. Supports any other core Procurement/Supply Chain programs that will impact the overall Supply Chain decision;

12. Assist in report development and in gathering data for executive Strategic Sourcing review presentations.

13. Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy. Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.

14. Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.

15. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

16. Lead and manage E Sourcing activities in Oracle Cloud. Assist Category Managers with their E Sourcing requirements, make sure that we achieve KPI target for E Sourcing projects. Drive and implement continuous improvement ideas or solutions to further develop the overall process, conduct trainings and promotions to increase awareness and usage of the tool.
