Supply Chain and Logistics Manager

About the role

As Supply Chain and Logistics Manager you will oversee and optimize the entire supply chain process – from procurement to customer delivery while working for an innovative and growing public listed company - Wagners Composite Fibre Technologies Manufacturing group! Working out of our national corporate office based at Wellcamp, Toowoomba you will work alongside the Commercial Manager to ensure operational efficiency, cost effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

This is a full- time position with a competitive remuneration package including base salary and superannuation.

Main Responsibilities

Supply chain management – develop and implement supply chain strategies, manage procurement process, identify and mitigate risksLogistics and transportation – oversee transportation and distribution networks, optimise routing and shipping methods, liaise with carriers, report on performanceImport/Export operations – manage international shipping, comply with trade regulations, collaborate with customs brokers and government agenciesTeam Leadership

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics principles and transportation management systemsStrong understanding of international trade laws, customs procedures and documentationExcellent problem solving, analytics and organisational skillsStrong leadership and team building abilitiesProficiency in ERP and supply chain software (e.g. Pronto)

Essential Requirements

Qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalentMinimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on logistics and import/export
