Job Description
We are looking for a well-organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to manage sales orders and logistics requirements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
ResponsibilitiesManage sales orders and logistics requirements for customers.Communicate tasks with internal counterparts.Process purchase orders from contracts.Ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry in a similar role.2+ years of experience with an ERP system such as SAP.2+ years of experience processing purchase orders from contracts.Strong organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel data entry.Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Experience with automation of supply chain processes.Proficient in relevant computer applications and order processing.Ability to work quickly and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to act swiftly and confidently.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.Experience with systems such as AS400, MAS 90, Microsoft Dynamics (Axapta), Profound Logic, Sharepoint, GotoMeetings, Lync Meeting/TEAMS, Quickbooks, Lotus Notes, ACD/Agent Call Center.Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday on-site for the first two weeks, with the option to work from home 1-2 days per week thereafter (typically Monday and Friday). Work hours are from 8 or 8:30 am to 5 pm, with an hour or half-hour for lunch. The position is replacing someone retiring in July, so immediate availability for training and settling in is required. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
