Who You Are
As a member of the Lockheed Martin, Global Supply Chain Aeronautics Management Team,
you'll support the Air Mobility & Maritime Missions Line of business as a Category Management, Manager. You’ll need to operate autonomously and have the business acumen for interaction with the strategic supplier leadership chains. In addition, you’ll be looked upon to help lead, guide & mentor your team with their continued learning and training.
What You Will Be Doing
You'll be responsible for managing a team of (13) Production Buyers; responsible for Production & Sustainment Programs that include:
• Multi-year Annual Buy
• DMS (Diminishing Manufacture Source)
• Hardware/Software Redesign
• Block Upgrade Programs
• Configuration Management Upgrades
You'll be responsible for tracking actions to closure; including negotiations, DMS Program Reviews, and Core SCM actions, as well as managing our Small Business Plan.
In addition you'll be responsible for managing a variety of metrics and developing the presentation materials for both Program and SCM Core Meetings. This position is direct to the Program, but also supports a variety of Core reporting activities.
This position requires a high level of interaction with internal LM organizations, suppliers and their leadership to resolve issues.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or experience within Supply Chain, Procurement, Subcontract Management or as a Buyer
• Experience delivering results to multiple stakeholders
• Experience operating in an environment with multiple stakeholders
• Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP) or similar
• Leading, Managing, Mentoring and/or training experience, for multiple direct reports
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally, building consensus and influencing opinion
Desired Skills:
• Experience in change management
• Familiarity with Government Procurement processes and regulations; to include FAR & DFAR
• Experience TINA compliant (Truth in Negotiations Act)
• Program and Earned value Management Experience
• Experience with the procurement process, and the impact of executed decisions
• Familiarity with Aeronautics’ procurement quality and manufacturing systems
• Experience in formal project management methodologies, and systems analysis tools, processes and methods
• Program Customer (Negotiation) Experience
• Professional Presentation Development and Delivery experience
• Experience collaborating effectively across multiple functional areas
• Experience with continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
